500kg OF WASTE PAPER SAVED FROM LANDFILL

D Wardle join forces with OyezStraker to divert half a tonne of waste paper from going to landfill.

D Wardle diverted 500kg of waste paper from going to landfill over the last six months through OyezStraker’s Close the Loop scheme.

Close the Loop is a paper recycling scheme introduced by OyezStraker in 2007, which enables customers purchasing paper products to have their paper recycled by the company that supplies them, eliminating the need for a separate recycling company. The paper that is recycled is converted back into paper products for the future. Meaning the paper that goes into D Wardle recycling trays today comes back into offices as a paper product in the future!
Since registering on the scheme in October 2008 D Wardle have placed recycling letter trays and bins around their offices and to date 500kg of paper has been diverted from landfill.
