2009 GOLD MEDAL FROM ROSPA

Recognising 5 consecutive Occupational Safety Gold Awards, RoSPA has awarded D Wardle (Plant) Ltd the coveted Gold Medal.

Scott Wardle, Managing Director, commented “The Gold Medal is a signal of our long term commitment to health and safety excellence. Over the last five years we have made great strides to continuously improve our QHSE systems and this award, together with OHSAS 18001 certification, demonstrates that safety remains our top priority."

RoSPA believes that the most effective way to promote safety and encourage best management practice is to recognise and reward those who head the field and “practice what they preach”. Winning the Gold Medal is independent recognition that D Wardle (Plant) are a company to be looked on as an example of excellent attainment and ‘best practice’ within the field of Health and Safety. The RoSPA awards panel consider all aspects of the Health and Safety Management system, as well as hard accident statistics, in making the Awards.
